Our ocularist in a specialist in correcting droopy or lazy eye lids on prosthetic eyes. Our ocular prosthetist is often able to re-fit and shape the prosthetic eye to correct droopy or lazy eye lids and open the prosthetic eye to accurately match the patient's natural eye.
PROSTHETIC EYE CHECK-UP & POLISH
It is important to see your ocularist / ocular prosthetist regularly for a check up and polish, recommended annually. Our Adelaide Ocularist and prosthetic eye clinic provides check-up and polish appointments for our patients and assists in prosthetic eye comfort and appearance.
PROSTHETIC EYE AMENDMENTS
Over time, the shape of our faces change, and this can often require a change in the shape or appearance of the prosthetic or artificial eye. Call our clinic to discuss any concerns you have, or to discuss whether an alteration or amendment to your prosthetic eye may be required.

We work closely with our patient's to ensure their new prosthetic eye is perfectly custom made. We ensure the fit, movement, and comfort is exact, and match the colour, veining and shading to perfectly match their natural eye.
If our patient's are in any way unhappy, we will make amendments and alterations to ensure we correct any concerns our patient has, free of charge.
